40th Anniversary Virtual Conference Sessions

For 4 Fridays in November, we took our annual conference and moved it online. Our team of incredible leaders helmed panel discussions with some of our communities top experts. Keeping to our roots, we focused on talking about Resistance, Resilience & Reconciliation.

2020 is also the 40th anniversary for LCCEWA and we are glad to be able to pivot our conference model to connect with our community to present this informative conference.

We also showcased an incredible mural created by Maya Almasalmah and Khanom Alaw, both high school students here in London, ON. Their art, We Still Have Hope is a beautiful depiction of collective loss, displacement & resilience. Click here to see a video of its creation.
